Trescothick retires

Star England batsman Marcus Trescothick has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket due to the recurring stress related illness that he was suffering from early 2006. He was by far the best batsman England have produced in the last decade by scoring nearly 6000 runs in 76 tests with 14 hundreds. In ODI' s he scored nearly 4500 to become the second highest run getter after Stewart. He said that he tried his best to return to the squad but since he could not overcome his illness, it made him to take this decision. Really sad.
