First test ends in a tame draw
The first test between India and South Africa at Chennai ended in a draw after South Africa batted throughout the fifth day's play with McKenzie scoring an unbeaten 150. It was a very placid wicket and the bowlers should erase these memories from their mind and start freshly for the next test. The match would be remembered for Sehwag's blitzkrieg knock of 319 at more than a run per ball. Harbhajan Singh was the pick of the bowlers taking 8 wickets in the match. The second test starts on 3rd April in Ahmedabad.
