The Red Devils at last scaled the summit. This was done after their 6-0 win over Newcastle helped them to the top of the Championship table. The first half was barren but the second half produced the most goals. Christiano Ronaldo scored his first hat trick with the Devils. Ferguson was really happy with the win and said that this was one of the best matches for him after being the manager.
