Pollock retires
The South African great Shaun Pollock has announced his retirement from all forms of the game after the present West Indies tour. Shaun said that the time has arrived for him to hang up his boots. One of the greatest all rounders the cricket has ever seen, Pollock is known for his nagging off stump line teasing the batsmen. But his pace and his thirst for wickets have dipped over the years but he is still one of the dangerous bowlers. One of the reasons for his retirement may be that SA board was in favour of younger bowlers. But he will surely be remembered for all his devastation work with Allan Donald making South Africa one of the formidable sides in the world.
